Lake Country Lutheran High School 2023-2024

Girls Soccer

Lightning Soccer strives to help our student-athletes grow spiritually, physically, and academically.  The life skills taught throughout the soccer season will last long after their playing days are over.  To ensure these exceptional experiences for our soccer team, we ask for your support.  Why?

Our Vision Statement says we will “ensure Exceptional Experiences” in athletics.  It is a bold statement that we strive to reach every day.  You may not live close enough to support us in attending our soccer games, but your financial support is important in helping us achieve that exceptional experience we desire for our program.

This is a great opportunity for alumni, parents, and community members like you to help strengthen our program by providing the necessary funding to ensure an exceptional experience for our athletes.  All gifts, at any giving level, are appreciated and get us one step closer to our vision!

Your gift will not only provide general financial support for our program but help us secure FORZA soccer-free kick wall mannequins and pop-up goals.

"Looking back at the 13 years that I have had the incredible opportunity to lead the LCL girls’ soccer program, there are so many team accomplishments to celebrate: LCL’s first state championship in 2012, a repeat last year (2022), state runner-up in 2015 and 2017, 3 more state appearances (7 total), 3 more appearances in the sectional final, and 12 straight regional championships. The incredible success achieved is a testament to the effort and commitment of the players and to the support of their equally committed families and friends. Despite all these accomplishments, winning has never been the focus. The focus has always been to facilitate the growth of players into strong, Christ-centered young women who can lead and grow His kingdom when they leave this place. I believe that if we keep our focus on what truly matters, the eternal life won for us through Christ’s sacrifice, everything else will fall into place. Looking to His example and “Pressing On” (Phil. 3:14), the girls’ soccer team will continue to prepare players for success after high school as God’s children. It has been such a blessing to build so many great relationships with players and their families over the years. Your support is truly appreciated and continues to drive player success both on and off the field.  Go Lightning!"
