Martin Luther High School 23-24

Girls Basketball

Spartan girls’ basketball strives to help our student-athletes grow academically, physically, and spiritually.  The life skills taught throughout the basketball season will last long after their playing days are over. To ensure these exceptional experiences for our basketball team, we are asking for your support.  Why?

Our Vision Statement says we will “ensure Exceptional Experiences” in athletics.  It is a bold statement that we strive to reach every day.  You may not live close enough to support us in attending our basketball games, but your financial support is essential in helping us achieve that exceptional experience we desire for our program.

This is a great opportunity for alumni, parents, and community members like you to help strengthen our program by providing the necessary funding to ensure an exceptional experience for our athletes.  All gifts, at any giving level, are appreciated and get us one step closer to our vision!

Your gift will not only provide general financial support for our program but help us secure an out-of-state team trip to play games.

“Hello, Lady Spartan Basketball Supporters!

Our program has seen a resurgence in the past seven years, winning three conference titles and five regional championships and making its first trip to state in 2017, where we were the eventual state runner-up in WIAA Division 3. It is all due to the buy-in and dedication of the young women choosing to be a part of what we are and carrying on the new traditions and leadership that came before them.

Along with our regular year-to-year operational budget, we hope to raise funds over the next two years as we look to take a team Trip out of state 2024-2025 season.

In the 2022-23 season, our team was able to raise funds through hard work and the generosity of our supporters and make our dream a reality to take to travel to Southern California to play two Lutheran High Schools, Orange County Lutheran, and Crean Lutheran. The opportunity to not only play out of state but to have fellowship and fun while developing new friendships and connections with our sisters in Christ from other LCMS schools is something that makes this trip so much more than just about basketball.  The impact of these experiences is lifelong memories for our student-athletes. These trips, which we hope to continue every two- years, are not possible without the continued support of our dedicated fans and alumni.

We are hoping with the success and fellowship we were able to experience on our last team trip, that this is a tradition our program can carry on again for the future as we set our sites to new locations around the country to play other LCMS high schools and find fellowship with our fellow sisters in Christ through the game of basketball.

We appreciate and thank you for your support!  Go Spartans!”
