Track & Field
Through the support of our alumni, parents, and friends, our student-athletes can compete at a high level, all while representing Milwaukee Lutheran High School with pride. Red Knight track and field challenges our students to become stronger spiritually, physically, and mentally. To ensure exceptional experiences for our track and field team, we ask for your support. Why?
Our Vision Statement says we will “ensure Exceptional Experiences” in athletics. It is a bold statement that we strive to reach every day. You may not live close enough to support us in attending our track and field meets, but your financial support is important in helping us achieve that exceptional experience we desire for our program.
All gifts at any level are appreciated and get us one step closer to our vision. This is an opportunity for alumni, parents, and community leaders like you to help strengthen our team by providing the necessary funding to ensure exceptional experiences for our athletes. If we meet our team goal, your gift will provide general support for our program and help us secure team travel bags.
“We are coming off a great Track & Field season! The JV Girls and Boys Track Teams are Indoor & Outdoor Champions for the 21-22 track and field season. We also want to highlight our exceptional athletes. One is KeVontae Walls-Burdine who broke three school records in one meet. The 100, 200, and 400-meter dash records were broken at the Myhrum Invite 2022. He ultimately placed 4th in the 100- and 400-meter dash at the state championship ending his high school career as a state champion in the 200-meter dash. Two of our shot putters Joshua Ferguson, and Jaiden Rhodes, placed 1st and 2nd at sectionals, qualifying them for the state meet along with our girls shot put champion, Tonyae Shell. The girls 4x200 relay placed 10th overall at state, coming very close to breaking the school record in that relay. We are looking forward to an even stronger team in the 22-23 school year with aspirations of competing for the gold trophy.”
