Alumni, parents, and students, the Lake Country Lutheran High School Golf Team needs your support. High school golf is a valuable experience that teaches skills and lessons to last a lifetime.  Many of our golfers will continue to play golf for the rest of their lives, whether competitively or just for fun.  To ensure exceptional experiences for our golf team, we ask for your support. Why?

Our Vision Statement says we will “ensure Exceptional Experiences” in athletics.  It is a bold statement that we strive to reach every day.  You may not live close enough to support us in attending our golf tournaments and matches, but your financial support is important in helping us achieve that exceptional experience we desire for our program.

This is a great opportunity for alumni, parents, and community members like you to help strengthen our program by providing the necessary funding to ensure an exceptional experience for our athletes.  All gifts, at any giving level, are appreciated and get us one step closer to our vision!

“The Lightning golf program provides our boys with an exceptional experience in so many ways.  We are blessed to call the private golf club, Oconomowoc Golf Club our home course with practice and playing privileges.  On the days we cannot be at OGC, The Club at Lac La Belle has graciously offered their practice facility for us to use. These are two of the finest golf facilities in Southeastern Wisconsin that we have access to.

In the off-season, Oconomowoc Golf Club has their indoor simulators for us to use to develop and train. This has had a tremendous impact on the improvement of our team.

Our golf program is growing in the number of participants and quality of players. We are a program that others look at and want to be like. That reflects the support from our administration and the acceptance and willingness from the players to make certain we have a positive culture.

It also exhibits the tremendous support of our parents. In the past two years, our families have graciously donated money to our program for golf bags, hats, balls and rain suits.  This season we need additional PING golf bags and Footjoy rain suits for the harsh Spring weather.
